I get a lot of great information and insight from the Stanford Technology Ventures Entrepreneurial Thought Leaders podcast.  It’s an endless supply of behind-the-scenes information from entrepreneurs in the heart of the tech world.

Angel Investing Revealed, that I just finished listening to, is one of the better episodes.  It provides a true insiders view of how deals come together in Silicon Valley.

I wanted to share this quote because it reinforces the fact that, in the Infopreneur world, we have the ultimate in low-burn experimentation.  In the rest of the entrepreneurial world, being able (or willing) to test an idea in the market very early in the product development cycle, is a new concept.  The Infopreneur business model has always been one of the most capital efficient business models in history.

It’s entertaining because the personalities involved are both interested and interesting. They are as interested in learning and growing as they are in sharing their knowledge. The give and take amongst the four panelists is always quite interesting.

It’s enlightening because you can always learn something from four people who have each had respectable success in the infopreneur and affiliate worlds. These are people who walk the walk and have a ton of valuable experience to share.

It’s practical because I almost always come away from listening to an episode with at least one thing I can use right away to improve my business.

Over the last year or so, I’ve been finding subscribing to, and refining a list of marketing podcasts that I listen to on a regular basis.  These podcasts make my short drive time both productive and quite enjoyable.  I also listen to podcasts (though not always marketing podcasts) while doing work around the house and taking walks.   Because I listen to music almost all day, having something else to put on in the car or while I’m not engaged in conversations or around other people, is a treat.
