Did you know there are over 240 million TVs in the US (2 million of them are in Toilets!). Yet with that many TV’s, the major TV networks get a combined total of only about 10 million ‘unique visitors.’
I say ‘only’ because YouTube, MySpace and facebook get a combined total of 250 million unique visitors.
That means that, even if you had an unlimited supply of money, you could not reach as many people as you could reach with a hugely popular video on YouTube — no matter what you spend on Television!
For those of us who were raised on TV, videos like this help us remember that TV (and the ‘broadcast’ mindset) is a dinosaur.
