BlogJet for Desktop Posts to Wordpress

by Doug Hudiburg on November 27, 2009

I love WordPress, and can’t imagine using a different blogging or content management system in my business, but still, having to log in to the WP admin panel every time I want to post something or work on a post is just a bit too much distance to cover.

Hence, I’ve always thought it would be nice to try a desktop WordPress client, but, until now, really didn’t undertake the effort.

But, yesterday, I decided to give it a go and one of my first searches landed me on this helpful WordPress desktop client review, from James Thomas.

When I read this…

I was about to write a blog post when it hit me. It was like a blinding realization… a moment of pure truth. I hate the WordPress post editor. In fact, I’m not too fond of the entire admin area, but I love WordPress as a whole package. So, why haven’t I researched desktop WordPress clients? And thus, the idea for this post was born.

I realized I couldn’t have said it better myself. I love it when you find just the right info in seconds.  Google and the blogosphere are such fantastic resources!

Based on a tiny bit of research, I have downloaded BlogJet under their 30–day trial.

BlogJet

This is my first post with BlogJet, I’ll let you know how it goes. So far, I love the UI and it took me less than 2 minutes to connect to my blog and start using the tool. Not bad!

Note: That was incredibly easy! The first post was published almost instantly and using the tool is very easy. I like!
