Integrating Rapid Action Profits Script
When you combine the VisiOlo with the Rapid Action Profits script (RAP), you have a combination that gives you a world class sales platform and world class conversion tracking and metrics. With the VisiOlo Add-on for RAP, your sales transactions will be posted directly to your VisiOlo account in real time where they can be tracked as goals.
What does this really mean?
Unprecedented Accuracy
The accuracy of your click and conversion tracking will be much, much higher than it could ever be with traditional ‘goal page’ tracking. Virtually every conversion tracking tool except VisiOlo with the RAP add-on uses ‘goal pages’ as the method of knowing that a goal has been reached. But this method assumes that the revenue amount of the goal is always the same, there are no refunds, and every goal is a one-time transaction. So price variations, refunds, and recurring payments (as in membership sites) are completely left out of the measurements.
End-to-end Performance Measurement
With VisiOlo + RAP, you can accurately measure conversion at every step in your RAP sales process, from click, to sale, to recurring payments… even to sales of multiple back-end products. Everything is tracked and measured so you can make smart decisions about what to focus on for optimization to increase profits.
TRUE Return On Investment Measurement for Traffic Sources
Most click trackers don’t really give you the ability to measure true ROI for traffic sources for several reasons. First, they only track the most recent link that a prospect or customer clicked on. Consider this example: a prospect sees a free report offer from you on Twitter and clicks on your tracking link to get it (one click, one conversion). Then, you send them several follow-up emails in an autoresponder series with offers to some of the products you sell. Your subscriber clicks on one of those links (another tracking link) and buys the product (one click, one conversion). Which link gets “credit” for generating the sale? Which link gets “credit” for generating subsequent sales? With the exception of VisiOlo, click trackers will credit the most recent link that the visitor clicked on with the conversion. But that doesn’t help you measure the value of Twitter as a traffic tool, does it?
The real answer is BOTH links should get the ‘credit’ — the most recent link clicked and (most importantly) the original link that brought that person to your site to begin with.
VisiOlo is the only click tracker that will do this for you.
But now, with RAP integration, there is even more value.
What if one or more of the products that our prospect bought is a subscription? Now, you not only have the initial purchase to measure, but also the revenue that is generated from the ongoing monthly payments. If you have a membership site with a $27/month subscription fee and the average duration of a membership is 5 months, then one new member is worth, on average, $135 (27 * 5). With VisiOlo + RAP, you will be able to credit *all* $135 back to the original traffic source OR the link that the customer clicked right before they bought — just select the appropriate option on your Link Stats report filters. With other systems, you will never know the true value of a traffic source — and that can be a very costly situation.
Put it this way, using the example above, you could pay as high as $4 per click to get traffic that converts to membership sales at just 3%! At $4 per click, you would pay $400 to get 100 visitors; a 3% conversion rate means you get 3 new members who will, on average, stay subscribed for at least 5 months. 5 months of subscriptions is worth $135; 3 subscribers are worth $405 — you’ve made a $5 profit after 5 months and would never have been able to measure to that degree of accuracy without VisiOlo + RAP
Now, if you can get a better conversion rate, or pay less per click, or retain members for an extra month, or sell those members additional products, or all of the above, you will be making a serious profit in no time.
Much More
These are, honestly, just the immediate benefits you will get by integrating your RAP systems with VisiOlo. With the data we are collecting, and guidance from our users, we expect to be developing new reports and metrics that will help you take your business to new levels. One direction I’m particularly interested in is Lifetime Customer Value (LCV) — this is one metric that lots of marketing gurus talk about but very few can measure. We are *almost* to the point were we can easily tell you, on average, what one customer is worth to you in both sales and profit. If that doesn’t get you all excited, trust me, it should. Once you have that number, there are an almost unlimited things you can do to leverage that into both a bigger LCV and also into a LOT more customers.
