5) Configure MDAs
The Most Desired Action (MDA) is the single most important action you want your visitor to take after visiting a specific page in your online selling system.
VisiOlo will track your conversion rate from step to step in your system as long as you tell it how to know when the MDA was taken.
To accomplish this, VisiOlo uses a unique concept called an MDA Identifier. You will use the MDA Indentifier configuration to tell VisiOlo how to identify when an MDA occurs.
An MDA Identifier is a page in your system that, when reached by your visitor, tells VisiOlo that your MDA was taken.
For example, if Page A is your affiliate information page, and your MDA for that page is for affiliates to register and visit your affiliate tools page (Page B), then you will configure Page B as your MDA identifier. This way, every time a visitor lands on Page B after viewing Page A, VisiOlo will know that the MDA for Page A was taken.
Again, your system map will help you immensely to clearly determine MDAs for each of your pages.
1) Navigate to List Pages
2) Click the ‘Configure’ Link For the Page You Want to Configure
3) Select the Page You Will Use as the MDA Identifier for This Page, Click Save
4) Repeat for Remaining Pages
Note: Every system has at least one ‘end’ page that does not have an MDA.
